We have a fun filled 2013 beginning with the annual Book Sale and Bake Sale scheduled for January 10th & 11th, 2014. The book sale will be held on Friday, January 11, 2013 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and Saturday, January 12, 2013 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Come prepared to make lots of book and bake sale purchases! This year again features our “members only” Preview Night Thursday evening January 10th, from 6:00 to 8:00 P. M.
This December, Orange Beach Public Library will feature basic and advanced computer classes, including Facebook for Beginners, e-Books for iPad, Kid Proof Your Computer and Internet Security and Identity Theft Prevention. The library now offers all Orange Beach Library cardholders free access to AtoZdatabases, a business and marketing leads database with strong job and people search components.
AtoZdatabases includes 30 million business profiles & 220 million residents and is ideal for sales leads, mailing lists, market research, employment opportunities, finding friends and relatives, and much more. Search by multiple limits including geography, business size & type, length of home ownership, and household income.
The library is conducting a trial Overdue Fine Forgiveness period from April 20th until October 20th, 2013. Fines will still appear on your account until waived at the Orange Beach desk. We can only waive fines for Orange Beach cards.
