E- and Audio Books for Mac

Tue, 10/23/2012 - 3:00pm - 4:00pm
Location:
Library Meeting Room

This workshop is unique and requires registration. During registration you will be asked what device you want to use to read ebooks or listen to audio books. This information is necessary to better focus the class because each device requires different instruction.

Session topics:

  • CamelliaNet, the library's downloadable audio and electronic book catalog
  • connecting to wireless networks
  • selecting, downloading and transferring books
  • syncing your reading device
  • returning and deleting books when finished

This independent, 1-hour session is part of the library's free weekly technology workshop series designed for beginning to intermediate-level Apple computer users. You may attend all sessions or just those most interesting to you.

These workshops are open to all library users, and registration is not required during the fall session. Attendees are strongly encouraged to bring their Mac laptops to the workshop to allow individual practice during the session.
